Welcome to the Town of New Denmark!

The Town of New Denmark will not be conducting a Spring Primary on February 16, 2010.  The next regularly scheduled election will occur on Tuesday, April 6, 2010.  Applications for Absentee ballots and/or Voter Registration applications can be obtained online under Forms & Permits.  Should you have any questions regarding voter registration or voting by absentee ballot, please contact the Town Clerk, Michelle Wallerius.

Tribute to Local Veterans:  As an update, the plaque paying to tribute to our local veterans which I have been putting together will now be on display at the Town Hall on Memorial Day - 2010.   Due to the limited number of names I have amassed to date, I have asked for the assistance of the Denmark VFW and the American Legion to locate additional names that should be included on the plaque.  If you or a family member were a resident of New Denmark and served in the Korean, Vietnam, Desert Storm or served or is presently serving in Afghanistan (Operation Enduring Freedom) and Iraqi Freedom, please contact me to have their name included in the plaque.  The purpose of this project is to acknowledge all the residents of New Denmark who served their country to protect our freedoms.   Thank you for your patience and assistance with this project.

Congratulations to the residents of New Denmark!  

New Denmark was named the winner of the "Project VOTE Municipal Voter Challenge" with 53.9% of our registered voters casting their ballot at the Spring General Election on April 7th.  The Town was awarded a traveling trophy which is on display at the Town Hall.  What a wonderful turnout and it is rewarding to see the residents exercise their right to vote.  Job well done - New Denmark.
